Assistance with Your Insurance Claim

Most homeowners do not know how filing an insurance claim works. Many people fail to file a claim in time out of fear that dealing with the insurance company will be difficult. That is why R&R Roofing is here to help. When you come to us for roofing services, we will lead you through the process of filing an insurance claim, if needed. Do not wait to file your claim, as the time available to you to make that claim may be limited by your insurance company. If you have storm damage, call us at (317) 294-9729.

How An Insurance Claim Works

Let us Take a Look at the Damage

Before the claim is filed, you will want professionals to assess the damage that has been done. Whether your roof has been impacted by a fallen tree, hail, or other unfortunate problems that would allow you to make a claim, call us to check it out. We will inspect the roof and inform you of how much damage has been done and whether a full replacement is needed.

An Adjuster Will Assess the Roof as Well

In most cases, an insurance company will send a claims adjuster to inspect your roof and evaluate how much it is worth. Our team has plenty of experience dealing with claims adjusters and we are familiar with the terminology used by insurance companies. This expertise allows us to provide you with a fair estimate.

Approval by the Insurance Company

After the claim is submitted and approved, the insurance company will send you a check for the amount of the estimate, minus your deductible and any value considered to be lost due to depreciation. This check is for your roofers to begin the repair or replacement project.

Finishing

When the repairs are complete, we will send a final bill to your insurance company. At this point, the insurance company should send you another check for the remaining costs of the roof repair project.
